2022 Royal Enfield Hunter 350 – Meet the latest RE | First Look

Here’s your first good look at the new Royal Enfield Hunter 350. Rishaad Mody has the details.

The Royal Enfield Hunter 350 was one of the most hotly anticipated motorcycles of 2021. And now, finally, we have our first good look at it.

The Hunter 350 is a brand new model from Royal Enfield, and it’s a big deal for the company. It’s the first all-new motorcycle from Royal Enfield in over a decade, and it’s a completely different animal to anything the company has made before.

The Hunter 350 is a middleweight motorcycle with a 350cc engine. It’s based on the same platform as the existing Royal Enfield Himalayan, but it’s been heavily revised and updated.

The most notable changes are to the chassis and suspension. The Hunter 350 gets a brand new frame made from steel, rather than the aluminium used on the Himalayan. The suspension has also been heavily revised, with Royal Enfield promising a much smoother and more controlled ride.

The engine is also new, and it’s a big improvement over the existing Himalayan’s motor. It’s a 350cc, single-cylinder, fuel-injected unit that produces 26bhp and 30Nm of torque. That might not sound like much, but it’s a significant increase over the existing Himalayan’s output of 24bhp and 32Nm.

The Hunter 350 also gets a new six-speed gearbox, rather than the five-speed unit used on the Himalayan.

Royal Enfield has also given the Hunter 350 some serious attention in the styling department. It’s a far cry from the utilitarian look of the Himalayan, and it’s clear that a lot of thought has gone into making the Hunter 350 look good.

The Hunter 350 is available in two colours: black and white. It’s priced at Rs 1.87 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).

So, that’s the Royal Enfield Hunter 350. It’s a brand new motorcycle from a company that’s been on a roll lately, and it looks like it has the potential to be a very popular model.
